This home was created to entertain and to enjoy the changing ocean views and sunsets. We felt this site called for a Modern design with flat roof lines to maximize the building height. Floor to ceiling commercial glazing was used to capture maximum light and frame the stunning views. It was an interesting project to mesh commercial building elements with residential products and work within the building code requirements. This home has very clean lines and modern details but a surprisingly cozy feel. On the west side of the home with direct access from the dining room, we created an ongrade concrete terrace for entertaining and watching the sun drop into the sea.
