These clients had contacted us 10 years prior to beginning their home design when this stunning waterfront property purchase was coming to life. These two engaging but very busy professionals wanted to create something that would stay in the family for many years. They relied on Surecraft and the design team to create something that would work for their current needs and also allow them to naturally transition into the next phase of life. They wanted there to be connectivity from the front courtyard through the home to pull friends and family to the rear of the property. This was accomplished by having a timber frame assembly that welcomed you to the front entry and continued right through the home, bisecting the dining room and extending out to the rear terrace. This also tied in the use of locally sourced west coast Douglas Fir with the interior vertical grained Douglas Fir finishing details.
